Appco Group, working for different campaigns...

Not many people in different countries have access to safe drinking water; due to lack of clean drinking water, most of the people consume contaminated water, which ensues in communicable and various water borne diseases.

Dirty drinking water is a common problem in most of poor and developing countries of the world, and the story in Indonesia is nothing different. Appco Group Indonesia works with Save the Children on different campaigns in the society, including world water crisis, child protection and survival, education, health and nutrition etc.

A global survey report states that about forty-five thousand children die every day due to various water borne diseases, like Cholera, Dengue Fever, Hepatitis A, Malaria, and Typhoid.

Recently, Appco Hong Kong office launched “Dirty Drinking Water" campaign for Save the Children; the objective was to bring awareness in the society about the problem of dirty drinking water.

During the event, a vending machine with dirty water running from a tap was one of main attractions; the field representatives approached people with dirty bottles of water, and conveyed the plight of many children across the developing world.

Appco Group Indonesia conducts WWF Field Trip

Appco Group Indonesia has always been one company which is constantly striving to keep themselves busy by doing activities that will help their clients gets more exposure to target customers and thus increase their revenue. With a dynamic country head that spearheads all activities, this company has been going great guns. Country Head of Indonesia, Michael Moore, recently went on a WWF field trip along with Miss Indonesia 2011, Nadine Chandrawinata, ambassador for WWF Indonesia. The trip to Tesso Nilo National Park in Riau (a province of Indonesia located in the center of Sumatra along the Straits of Malacca) was to raise awareness on the effects of illegal logging and forest fires. In 1994, 84% of the province was jungle, a vast difference from the 17% of jungle that is left today. This drastic change is due to illegal clearing of land for palm oil plantations. The province is also home to tiger and elephant habitats that are greatly affected by the rapid deforestation occurring.

Global TV was also present to film a documentary on the wild life and forestry in the province. Country Head of Indonesia, Michael Moore along with Miss Indonesia were featured in the documentary which aired in over 200 cities and towns across Indonesia.

Appco Group Indonesia soars to great heights

Appco Group Indonesia so far and the company has over the past few months soared great heights. The year started with a bang when James Arnold of the company was promoted to the position of Assistant Owner. He, along with Freddy Dumais (SKYLAR), then shifted their base to Makassar. The enthusiastic, brilliant and talented guy he always was, James has already succeeded in setting up a fantastic work atmosphere in the new territory and awaits the arrival of the 15 guys who are recruited.

Another news is that Enrico F.Rumbayan has also met the criteria required for Assistant Ownership and achieved the promotion as well. He is now proceeding towards donning a full branch management role. The next promotion is close at heels with the Kemang location successfully hitting criteria's.

The best and the biggest news in the recent days is that Appco Group Indonesia witnessed its first ever female promotion to branch management. In addition to being promoted to the Branch Manager, Rendita Utara was also entrusted with the launch of the Yayasan Jantung Indonesia, an event which turned out to be a great success with over 190 sign ups secured by just 5 guys. This even beats the 5 piece average that is supposed to be met by employees and showcases the huge effort that is put in by the entire team.

Appco Group Indonesia is today all eyes for the performance of RC CORP in the upcoming quarter and is all praise for Utara, the promoting owner in North Kingdom who put in a great effort.
