Appco Group Indonesia has always been one company which is constantly striving to keep themselves busy by doing activities that will help their clients gets more exposure to target customers and thus increase their revenue. With a dynamic country head that spearheads all activities, this company has been going great guns. Country Head of Indonesia, Michael Moore, recently went on a WWF field trip along with Miss Indonesia 2011, Nadine Chandrawinata, ambassador for WWF Indonesia. The trip to Tesso Nilo National Park in Riau (a province of Indonesia located in the center of Sumatra along the Straits of Malacca) was to raise awareness on the effects of illegal logging and forest fires. In 1994, 84% of the province was jungle, a vast difference from the 17% of jungle that is left today. This drastic change is due to illegal clearing of land for palm oil plantations. The province is also home to tiger and elephant habitats that are greatly affected by the rapid deforestation occurring.

Global TV was also present to film a documentary on the wild life and forestry in the province. Country Head of Indonesia, Michael Moore along with Miss Indonesia were featured in the documentary which aired in over 200 cities and towns across Indonesia.
